Three Times A Night

Filed under: kento — adekun @ 4:50 am

There are plenty of bizarre occurrences here in Japan. For example, my neighbour’s giant cabbages. They seemed to appear overnight, as if they were teleported from Outer Space. Another is how people announce their arrrival by shouting gomen kudasai (please excuse me) and waking up Kento - having spent most of the afternoon trying to get him to sleep.
Anyway, on the subject of sleep (which I should mention I conditioned myself to sleep through Kento’s cries within weeks of him arriving), I now find myself stirring. Although I manage to fall straight back to sleep, I do recall yesterday waking to find Kento between us, later being absent and this morning back again, sandwiched in the middle. So perhaps a gomen kudasai to my poor wife.

  1. I remember those days well we had a builder at home when we first brought Reuben home, he would just get off to sleep and the builder would start the jack hammer!!

  2. Funny you should mention it. The local power company have been visiting.
It would appear they are trying to replace a concrete pillar running in parallel to another. I’ve got not idea what they are doing though. It’s been up and down several times this week.
