Onion stronghold

It is still raining. Although as yet to reach biblical proportions, I am a little concerned with the onions. The mizo (trenches) were quick to fill and haven’t contained the water. The beds seem reminiscent of a Motte-and-bailey castle. Perhaps I need to build my motte a little higher. Or perhaps, I need to get out more?

Going both ends

Seem to have had the same sort of start to the month as October. Been feeling pretty crappy, perhaps, due in part to the dreary weather. Yesterday was bad, but hopefully have purged all my symptoms. Imbued somewhat, after several bourbon & cocoa tonics, I hope to catch-up on what I had already neglected to do.
I still have the carrots to thin out, forecast is looking favourable early next week.

Hakusai

Hakusai, aka Bak Choi or Chinese Cabbage, taken yesterday. Going to turn this into Kimchi, which stated to be among the world’s top five healthiest foods. Found with the leaves being so dense, there were few bugs and poop.
