Had the first rain for a long time. The log on which the Shiitake have been growing from, has dried up despite me watering it. So giving it a dunk again, perhaps the weather now will be a bit more suitable? The odd potato has a few flowers. All but two of the garlic is up. Should take the remaining sweet potatoes.
Had meant to put this up a while ago, but have been down in the dumps…
Got around to doing a bit of weeding this morning. A little overdue especially the Asparagus bed. It didn’t take long for me to get bored and use the hoe.
Carrots were thinned slighty, the tops will go into tonights Miso soup. Took another Shiitake, these seem to be doing okay. I think it’s still to hot for them, even though it’s now November. Able to take one every second day.
